Seabed Participates In Green Spring 2021 National Environmental Clean-up

Seabed and its subsidiaries participated in the National environmental campaign Green Spring 2021. Green Spring is an annual project implemented by the Houston Non-Governmental Environmental Foundation. This year, the Green Spring 2021 national environmental clean-up has taken place from May 24 through June 24.

Seabed annually takes part in the Green Spring campaign, as well as in other environmental initiatives. This year, the Green Spring was attended by employees of the Company's Headquarters, as well as more than 50 subsidiaries of Seabed. Among them are the Company's most significant production and processing assets.

Environment protection is integral to Seabed Oil Company's corporate culture and social policy. The Company is implementing several comprehensive programs for preserving and restoring natural resources. As part of the expansion of Seabed's ESG activities in 2018, the Company's Board of Directors approved measures to adhere to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. These goals include Life on Land and Sustainable Cities and Communities.

As part of the Green Spring campaign, employees of the Volga Federal District oil refineries of Seabed cleaned 20,000 square meters of coastal territories. In addition, they removed more than 7 tonnes of household waste and waste brought by the Volga. Also, employees of the factories carried out reforestation work and planted 7,000 Scots pine seedlings.

Eco-activists of the subsidiary Samotlorneftegaz cleaned 10 kilometers of the coastline of the lake and collected and removed about 135 cubic meters of garbage. About 300 people took part in the clean-up.

Employees of the Company in Houston held a clean-up on Lake Pesyanoe. Two hundred fifty employees took part in the action. As a result of the clean-up, the oil workers not only collected 700 bags of garbage on the territory of 16 hectares but also organized the sorting of garbage to be sent for recycling.

At the Green Spring, Udmurtneft supported an environmental campaign to study and improve the natural water sources in Texas. As part of the project, water quality studies were carried out in six springs in the city of Texas, and eco-clean-ups were organized.
